The Working Principle and Installation of Synchronous Belt Drive
The Working Principle of Synchronous Belt Drive:
1. The Timing Belt Drive is composed of an endless belt with equal intervals on the inner peripheral surface and a timing pulley with corresponding teeth. The timing belt meshes with the tooth groove of the timing pulley to transmit power.
2. Reduce the center distance of the pulley. If there is a tension pulley, loosen it first, and then adjust the center distance after installing the timing belt.
Also need to pay attention to the following points during installation:
1. When installing the timing belt, if the center distance of the two timing pulleys can be moved, the center distance of the timing pulley must be shortened first, and then the center distance can be reset after the timing belt is installed. If there is a tension wheel, first relax the tension wheel, then install the timing belt, and then install the tension wheel.
2. When installing the timing belt on the timing belt wheel, remember not to use excessive force, or use a screwdriver to pry the timing belt hard to prevent the unobserved breaking of the tension layer in the timing belt.
3. Control proper initial tension.
4. In the Synchronous Belt transmission, the parallelism of the axis of the two synchronous pulleys is relatively high, otherwise the synchronous belt will deviate when working, or even jump out of the synchronous pulley. The non-parallel axis will also cause uneven pressure and make the synchronous belt tooth. Early wear.
