Why Do Some Rubber Timing Belts Core Layer Do Not Add Steel Wire?

As we know, as a kind of strength layer, steel core is more used for polyurethane timing belt. The reason is very simple, that is, steel wire and rubber do not merge. In terms of physical properties, they are mutually exclusive. Compared with steel wire, rubber is actually softer and does not have the strength of metal. Therefore, if the steel wire is used as the strong layer, it will cause the tape to tear to a large extent during the transmission process. Of course, this is limited to improper transmission speed and power intensity, which will also harden the rubber belt and reduce its mechanical properties.

 

Therefore, in the products of the rubber timing belt factory, the strong core is more used as the strong layer. Of course, this core is also a Kevlar core, not some unknown ordinary material. Only this material can meet the requirements of use, and we need to pay attention to it.

 

In addition, we also mentioned the use of steel wire core as a strength layer, but as an experienced manufacturer, we would like to remind you that this is not standard. We also mentioned before why rubber and steel wire are not mixed together in most cases, but in some special cases, such as low-speed, high-strength transmission occasions, it can also be used, but there are strict conditions. B: Edge wear: 1) Timing belt incident is not parallel 2) Timing belt wheel steering deflection 3) Rising pulley has cracks 4) Bearing has gaps Solution: 1)  Straighten the non-parallel synchronous belt wheels and replace the synchronous belt. 2) Replace the tensioner, suspension wheel and timing belt C: Wear of the surface fabric at the root of the convex tooth (1) Excessive tension (2) Excessive temperature (3) Damage to the synchronous pulley. Solution: (1) Adjust the tension (2) Find the cause of the high temperature and repair it (3) Replace the synchronous pulley D: The flanks of the convex teeth are abnormally worn, the bottom is cracked, and the convex teeth are cut: (1) The tightening force is too large or too small (2) There is foreign body (3) The timing belt pulley or the tension pulley is seized.
