Precautions for Storage, Installation and Use of Timing Belts

1. It is strictly forbidden to forcibly break or bend the timing belt excessively to avoid damage to the strength layer and lose its use value.

2. Do not store the timing belt in an abnormally bent state for a long time.

3. Store in a cool place.

4. When installing, please shorten the center distance, loosen the tensioning pulley, and do not force the synchronous belt from the lower convex rib of the synchronous pulley to install it.

5. The teeth of the synchronous pulley must be at right angles to the running direction of the synchronous belt.

6. The parallelism of the main shaft of the driving wheel and the passive wheel is controlled at about tangent = 1/1000. Inaccurate axial position will directly affect the service life.

7. It is found that the synchronous belt on the driving wheel is offset to one side, and the passive wheel should be moved to adjust it, and the pressure of the tensioning wheel should be adjusted.

8. When starting, the center distance is changed, the belt is loose, and the tooth skipping phenomenon occurs. Check whether the pulley frame is loose and whether the positioning of the shaft is inaccurate. Adjust and reinforce.

9. The synchronous belt must be properly tensioned according to different models and bandwidths during installation.

10. The tensioning wheel must be installed on the loose side of the driven transmission.
