Similarities and Differences Between Heat-resistant Conveyor Belts and Burn-resistant Conveyor Belts

The high temperature resistant conveyor belt in the traditional sense is generally a conveyor belt resistant to 175°C. Its ability to withstand heat is that the cover rubber has certain flexibility and strength after aging at 175°C*96h, which can meet the further requirements of use;

 

The biggest difference between the high temperature resistant conveyor belt and the burn resistant conveyor belt is: the high temperature resistant conveyor belt examines the thermal oxidative aging ability of the cover rubber, and the damage of the cover rubber is a slow thermal oxidative aging, such a large inclination conveyor belt It can be used in large cement plants to show its advantages best. The material is not prosperous, and the temperature is between 200-300. The belt is finally damaged due to the aging of the covering rubber. Generally, the rubber type will use EPDM for heat-resistant and oxygen-resistant aging. Rubber, through certain cooperation to improve the service life;

 

The burn-resistant conveyor belt is a destructive use, because such conveyor belts are generally used in places with extremely high temperatures such as sintered ore in steel plants. There are even open flames in many places. Under such conditions, any general-purpose rubber will lose it for long-term use. The elasticity of the rubber conveyor belt is to add some carburizing agent to make the rubber quickly carbonized at this temperature. One is to prevent the heat from being transferred to the belt body, and the other is to resist the wear of the material on the conveyor belt at high temperatures. This kind of conveyor belt rubber is made of rubber with good carbon-forming properties. By adding coking agent, etc., it can achieve good carbon-forming performance and increase the service life.

A: There is noise: the tension is too large or too small, the solution: the tension should be adjusted. B: Edge wear: 1) Timing belt incident is not parallel 2) Timing belt wheel steering deflection 3) Rising pulley has cracks 4) Bearing has gaps Solution: 1)  Straighten the non-parallel synchronous belt wheels and replace the synchronous belt. 2) Replace the tensioner, suspension wheel and timing belt C: Wear of the surface fabric at the root of the convex tooth (1) Excessive tension (2) Excessive temperature (3) Damage to the synchronous pulley. Solution: (1) Adjust the tension (2) Find the cause of the high temperature and repair it (3) Replace the synchronous pulley D: The flanks of the convex teeth are abnormally worn, the bottom is cracked, and the convex teeth are cut: (1) The tightening force is too large or too small (2) There is foreign body (3) The timing belt pulley or the tension pulley is seized. Solution: (1) Adjust the tension (2) Remove foreign objects (3) Find the cause and repair E: The volume of the surface fabric of the convex teeth: the engine or other parts have liquid leakage.
