·When selecting a V-belt, you must pay attention to its model and choose the correct one to ensure that the top surface of the V-belt is flush with the top surface of the pulley;
·The top surface of the V-belt should be flush with or slightly higher than the outer edge surface of the wheel groove;
·There is a certain gap between the bottom surface and the bottom of the wheel groove to ensure that both sides of the belt are in good contact with the wheel groove and increase the working capacity of the belt drive. If the top surface of the belt is too high above the outer surface of the wheel groove, the contact area between the belt and the wheel groove is reduced, the friction force is reduced, and the belt transmission capacity is reduced. If the top surface of the belt is over the bottom, and the bottom is in contact with the bottom surface of the wheel groove, the friction force sharply reduced or even lost.
